Crash91 Films, founded on the 24tht of December 2008, is an initiative of Kenneth Sebastian and Aniket Dasgupta, who aim to bring Indian Indie films to the mainstream public.The indie and amateur film industry itself is a niche and in India hardly anyone appreciates the numerous talented Indie and amateur Film makers in the country,With the advent of YouTube and its clones this talent is being expressed but unlike the west we haven’t seen anything big (like SMOSH)as yet. We are at present concentrating on small length videos but do look forward to a full length movie in the future.
In this endeavour of ours we are looking for funds and sponsors , if you would like to finance our projects you don’t have to be a millionaire ,even a small contribution counts (Please visit ”support us” for more details)
Our videos are shot on personal video cameras for the simple fact that we cannot afford expensive equipment , our methods of photography and sound are bare bones (but Innovative) The entire proces requires crew and cast , crew and cast who most of the times are our friends and family. We are not trying to prove anything , but we are just trying to showcase the future of content production and the potential the country has.
In this site we have a tutorial section where we provide tutorials for film makers of all skill sets.And we want our forum to be the hub of activity for all indie and amateur film makers.
